Reminder - Carnival Pre ticket sales now
through Wednesday morning.
Wristbands
are $20 each.
Good for Wednesday night. They will be $25 at the ticket office.
Individual
ticket rides are sold in sheets of 25 for $20. They will be
$1 each at the box office. Send your order to the main office prior to
Noon on Wednesday.
1) This Friday, May 18th - NO
SCHOOL - Faculty Retreat Day
2) Important - Last Carnival Planning Meeting
- tomorrow evening - 6
p.m. - basement of rectory
3) Morning
Arrival: Just a reminder - due to the carnival - bus drop off and
pick up all week will be directly in front of the school on Main Street.
Walker’s grs. K-5 will enter the building the usual way by the doors on the
playground side. Junior High walkers will enter by their junior high
doors.
4) Dismissal -
all week - due to the carnival: Only change - pickup for students in grades K-2
will be by the doors on the playground side of the school (same doors entering
in the morning). Grs. 3-5 will dismiss walkers by
their usual doors to Union Avenue, while junior high will dismiss walkers by
the junior high doors.
5) Bus dismissal all week - due to the
carnival - for ALL grades - will be out the front doors of the school.
6) FAIR DAY -
this Wednesday - UPDATE
Fair Day - is on - regardless of weather conditions on
Wednesday. We will not have Food
Service coverage for Wednesday if we were to make last minute changes, as well
as a few other issues.
Therefore, if it rains, the children
will have their Fair Day on Wednesday - Bingo with Prizes, movie/popcorn/candy,
and the barbecued lunch (students have choice of hot dog or hamburger).
All those events take place in the morning. Only the Fairground rides
from 12:00-1:00 and 1:00-2:00 would be cancelled if it's raining.
The fairground rides would then take
place on Thursday afternoon.
7) Fair Day -
Just a reminder - students will need extra money for Fair Day if they
wish to use the dunk booth ($1 for 2 throws) or if they wish to purchase
candy/popcorn/waters over at the movies (church basement).
8) Fair Day
payment is due by tomorrow, Tuesday, May 15th. The cost is $10
for one child, $16 for two, and $20 for 3 or more. This
money helps to defray the cost of the Bingo prizes, the ribbons, and each
child's lunch (the students will have a choice of hamburger or hotdog).
9) Yearbooks - This is a wonderful keepsake!
We are still taking orders for this year's yearbook. The yearbooks cost $14 ea. -
cash or charge only. This yearbook will feature a tribute
to Fr. Jette, pastor of the year, as well as highlighting all of our students
of the month for this year. Send your order in to the main office asap.
10) Tuition Final payments for 2011-2012,
assessment for 2011-2012, seat deposits for 2012-2013, and book fees for
2012-2013 are now due.
11) Saint Lawrence School Flashlights -
$10 each - We have TWO
left - If you would like to order one, please send in your order asap - cash or
charge only.
12) Parents
- We can really use your help!! LAST CALL! Tomorrow, Tuesday
morning, will be your last chance to send in items for the gift baskets.
